I’ve got food on the brain and these delicious applewiches are making me drool #fitfam! 😋
As Day Three (3) day of the cleanse I’m doing comes to an end, I am searching for clean eats to keep me on track and maximize the benefits of the cleanse!
🍎 Applewiches 🍎
—Makes 4 snacks—
2 large apples
4 tablespoons peanut, tree nut, or seed butter
4 tablespoons granola
1. Use an apple corer or melon baller to remove the apple cores. Cut ½ inch off of the top and bottom of the apples. Cut the apples crosswise into ½-inch-thick slices. They will look like bagels with holes in the center.
2. Rub the cut sides of the lemon over both sides of the apples to prevent browning. Spread peanut butter on 4 apple slices. Sprinkle the granola on top. Cover with the remaining apple slices.
